There are so many Sewing Bloginistas taking on the S.W.A.P. (Sewing With A Plan) challenge, which was inspired by an article in trimmelfabrics.com. It sounds exciting and from what I read from the article it's no joke. Kudos to those who are taking it on or have in the past for a contest or for your own personal reasons. Pirouette's personal S.WA.P, which is still in progress, has me thinking about my wardrobe project a little differently. I'm going to have the pieces work together. It's definitely going to involve an lot more thought behind the fabric selections, but it should be interesting. Hey, Mimi of domestichaven joined the '501 Project'. Above is the piece she submitted. If you can see yourself in it, then definitely place your vote!! I would be nice to have someone we know in the blogoshere to be in the top 20! You'd have to first register then click this link again to take you directly to her 501 out fit. I couldn't find it thru the gallery.

Hey there, D. Styles! Much luck to you on your SWAP. It's a fun and challenging process. I think it's also a great use of one's time and money.
Thanks!!!!!
