I Have Golden Hands !! ;-)
This book is a recent addition to my sewing library. It's a 1972 ed. and is in GREAT condition. It's offers elaborate information about pattern-making and pattern alternations. What is amazing (and quite funny to me) is the illustrations in the book are back in style. The Reader's Digest Complete Guide To Sewing is still my number choice for 1st time sewers, but this book is definitely a top choice if you want to increase your versatility in pattern alternations and better understand how to get the results you want. If you want to pick up the book, check out bookfinder4u.com. Ciao!

To funny that it is back in style!!!! 1972 - wow... Yes, the best sewing books are often pretty old... and I find that seeing sewing procedures presented without always trying to sell you some PRODUCT to help you along is a very GOOD thing!
